On it’s transfer to Broadway, the Broadway musical ‘Hamilton’ became a cultural phenomenon. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s incredible creative interpretation of Alexander Hamilton’s life captured the imagination of even the most theatre-resistant Americans, signaling the arrival of Broadway’s next perennial favorite.
What was it like to be in ‘The Room Where It Happens’, as it happened? Was being involved with the show at the very peak of it’s success just a normal day at the office, or an experience to last a lifetime?
From the outside, it may have looked like it was all fun, success, and parties. The reality for Julian was very different. (SPOILER ALERT: it involved a heart attack!)
